Steampunk UnLimited at the Strasburg Rail Road November 16–17

The lovely thing about the steampunk world is its unpredictability—and its tendency to allow presents to fall into one’s lap. Case in point: the Steampunk UnLimited event at the Strasburg Rail Road in Strasburg, Pennsylvania this weekend, November 16–17.

The organizers invited me to come and sign print copies of the Magnificent Devices series, and I’ll be keeping company with Tee Morris & Pip Ballantine (The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences), Esther Wheelmaker (the Zombiepunk series), Brian Thomas & Raymond Witte (Steampulp Tales), Thomas Willeford, and Mark P. Donnelly.

There will be vendors and purveyors of fine steampunk accessories, a shop tour with photo opportunities in the Ring of Fire, a decommissioned locomotive upon which we are permitted to climb and gambol for more photo ops, an absinthe tasting, and a Victorian dinner train.

Do come and join us. It will be the most fun Strasburg has seen in … a clockwork century!
